Mildred L. Herrington, 75 of Rochester passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019.
Born on June 5, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Elmer G. and Clara E. (Black) Yoho. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Rochester Corps, where she led the Women’s Home League, volunteered countless hours, helped at Camp Allegheny in Ellwood City and taught Sunday School.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Herrington in 1994, a daughter, Karen L. McKelvey, two brothers, James and her twin Elmer Yoho, three sisters; Edith Seaman, Mary Bowser, and Georgeann Collins
She was the beloved mother of Tim McKelvey, Bonnie (Rick) Hissam, Laura (Gary) Van Newkirk, and James W. McKelvey, eight grandchildren; Jennifer McKelvey, Charles Barnard, Michelle (Mike) Lamenza, Mindy (Matt) Reider, Ricky Hissam, Samantha McKelvey, Liberty, and Timothy J. McKelvey, five great grandchildren; Elysia, Juliana, Kaya, Jasper, and Cameron, siblings: Isabelle Bowser, Tom Bowser, George (Erma) Yoho, William (June) Yoho, Helen (Bill) Richeal, and Jeannie Richeal.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 12:00 until the time of service at 3:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, with Nancy and John Barnett from the Beaver Falls Salvation Army officiating. Private interment will be in Union Cemetery, Monaca.
