Mrs. Bessie M. Falesnik 97 of Stockbrindge, GA., formerly of Monaca passed away Wednesday morning October 26, 2022. She was born in Port Richmond, VA. and the daughter of the late Walter and Shellie (Faulkner) Wyatt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her baby sister Lily Wyatt, her husband of 33 years Mr. John (Johnny) F. Falesnik in 1976, a very dear friend and companion Stanley Branowitzer of Ambridge, PA. in 1997, a beloved son James (Jim) Falesnik of Monaca, Pa. in 2009, her two brothers, Marvin Wyatt of Pensacola, Fla. and Bill Wyatt of Monaca, PA., and her son-in law John (Jack) A. Fronko of Stockbridge, GA. in 1998.
Surviving are her two daughters, Judy A. Fronko of Stockbridge, GA. and Gwen (William) Papastefan of Camden, Delaware A daughter-in-law Joyce Falesnik Cain of Monaca, PA. Four grandchildren Mark (Marybeth) Falesnik of Greenville, Pa., Alison (Thomas) Rowland-Knight of Oxford, GA., Adam (Erika) Fronko of McDonough, Ga., and Andrew Papastefen of Camden, Delaware. Twelve great grandchildren Logan, Sierra (Tia), Morgan, Reece and Bree Falesnik of Greenville, PA., Evan and Kristin Fronko of McDonough, GA, Ansley And Austin Rowland of Oxford, Ga., and Charlie Papastefan of Camden, Delaware. One great-great grandchild Remi Lewis.
Bessie was a 1941 graduate of West Point High School. She met her soldier husband Johnny employed at the Medical College of Virginia. They married in April 1942 and had three children together. She was a resident of Monaca, Pa., for 60 years prior to moving to Stockbridge, GA. In 2006, after spending the winters there for 10 years to be near her daughters and sharing that time with her brother Marvin in Pensacola, Fla. Bessie enjoyed traveling and playing cards with her friends, especially her dear friend Ann Pietrandria of Conway, Pa. She was a former member Of the First Presbyterian Church of Monaca and also a current member of Liberty Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, friend and companion and was deeply loved and will be missed greatly.
Friends and family will be received from 10am until time of service at 1pm on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA Entombment will be with her husband at Sylvania Hills Mausoleum in Rochester at 2pm. A reception will immediately follow at Grand Valley Inn in New Brighton, 452 Constitution Blvd, New Brighton, Pa 15066
In Lieu of flowers Bessie requested donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Monaca, Pa. 1301 Indiana Ave, Monaca, Pa. 15061
