Nancy Beeman Fries, 75, of Economy, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 22, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born December 15, 1936, in Fairview, WV, she was a daughter of the late Ord and Nellie (Tennant) Billingslea. She was a member of the Family Bible Church in Freedom.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husbands, L. Wayne Beeman, of 50 years and Malcolm ?Fritz? Fries of three years.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence W. ?Larry? and Deborah Beeman and Richard A. ?Rick? and Nancy Beeman, all of Economy; a daughter and son-in-law, Diana J. and Richard Wontorski in Nevada; 11 grandchildren, Daniel Beeman and Tara, Melissa (Brian) Russo, Amie Beeman and Jay, Benjamin Beeman, Abby Beeman and Tim, Jessica (Andrew) Bell, Kelly (Mike) Liberty, Rick Beeman Jr., Anne (Ken) Vogt, Adam (Dara) Jones and Cody Jones; eight great-grandchildren; three step-sons, Bob and Debra Fries, Bill ?Willie? Fries and Brad and Laura Fries all in Virginia; five step-grandchildren, Brian, Samantha, Troy, Mark and Jake; a step-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Stanley Billingslea and Bob (Ginny) Billingslea and a sister, Peggy Reed.
Along with her husbands and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by four brothers, Gary, Owen, Don and Jack Billingslea.
The family would like to give special thanks to her fiancé, Bobby Thrower, and her devoted friends for their love and support during this difficult time.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Her minister, Pastor Ed Bailey, will officiate.
Private entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.
