Nancy Lee Carter

Nancy Reese Carter, 82 of Center Township passed away Sunday afternoon, September 30, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.Born on November 18, 1935 in Monaca, PA.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Luthera Reese.Along with her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, William Carter, a brother SFC Charles Reese, Jr. and his wife Trudy, a son in law Michael Infantozzi, a daughter in law Georgean Rose Carter and a niece, Alexis Reese.Nancy leaves three children; Bruce Carter of Hookstown, Brian (Lisa) Carter of Center Township, and Michelle Infantozzi (Kirby Hohenshel) of Industry and her beloved granddaughter, Mara Infantozzi who was the love of her life.  She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Edwin (Jean) Reese of Shawnee, OK. Two nieces, Carol and  Amanda, and two  nephews, Ryan and Mario. She will be missed by many.Nancy held a variety of jobs over the years.  She worked for a period of time as a waitress at the former  Lazy Troll and for Phoenix Glass Co in Monaca.   She also previously  served as an elected auditor for Center Township.  Her hobbies were crafting, crochet, flower gardening, yard sales, and auctions.Friends will be received on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca followed by a service on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 am.The Family wishes to express sincere appreciation to St. Joseph Villa, Baden, Beaver Meadows, and Good Samaritan Hospice.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
