Naomi Mae Mihalek, 84, of Monaca, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 16, 2015. Her passing occurred at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.Born February 8, 1931, in Powhatan Point, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Nancy Elizabeth (Doty) Baker. Naomi was united in marriage to Andrew Mihalek, Jr., who preceded her in death on February 16, 2006. A devoted mother and grandmother, Naomi created a happy home and dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed reading, sewing and completing jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles.Naomi is survived by a daughter, Janet Mihalek and a son, Joseph Mihalek, both of Monaca; granddaughters, Jennifer Leister of Monaca, Andrea Bologna of Hopewell; four great-grandchildren, Sammy and Alex Bologna and Christopher and Carleigh Rubcic; three brothers, Floyd, Kennard and Harry Baker, all in Ohio and three sisters, Gladys Harlan and Velma Gallaher, both in Ohio and Wanda Milahek of Economy.Along with her husband and parents, Naomi was preceded in death by a son, Andrew; four brothers, Halbert, Aaron, Francis and Harold Baker and two sisters, Della Hranko and Mabel Brunner.Friends will be received Thursday, February 19th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Rev.
