Nathan Patrick Gianantonio, 34, of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He is now reunited with his beloved grandmother, Pauline Gianantonio who passed away October 9, 2015.Born July 26, 1981, in Brighton Township, he was the beloved son of David E. and Patricia L. Gianantonio. A graduate of Monaca High School, Class of 2000, Nathan attended Penn State Beaver Campus, majoring in psychology. As member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca, he was a dedicated alter server from 5th grade throughout his high school years. Nathan was an avid movie buff of both new and classic films, mostly Quentin Tarantino movies. He collected baseball cards and comic books. A kind and generous spirit, Nathan was particularly close to his beloved grandmother who preceded him in death last year and also loved caring for animals. Nathan was formerly employed at Mailing Services of Pittsburgh in Cranberry Twp. and Cutler-Hammer (Eaton Corp.) in Beaver, and Walmart in Cranberry Twp. He was also a former volunteer for CONTACT of Beaver County in Center Twp. while in college.In addition to his parents, Nathan will be sadly missed by his sister, Amber Morris and her husband, Jeremy, and their sons, Brendan and Talan, all of Monaca, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Friends will be received on Sunday, April 10th, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.
