My mind is a mess trying to grasp the finality of this. I feel sick with sadness at the thought that it’s actually real. You were one of my closest friends since we were 3 or 4 years old. We hung out every single weekend up until I left for college, and even when I came back to visit it was like nothing had changed. You were always so smart, an engineer tinkering and taking things apart and rebuilding them since you were a kid. I still remember you getting me, you, and Erin out of class in 3rd grade to go “fix” the computers, but really we just played games. haha And remember in 7th grade when we got in trouble for sending messages in class with our Secret Senders and they got taken away from us, so you wrote a handwritten note and threw it across the room?! hahahahahaYou were always so carefree and a joy to hang out with. You were the group clown that always made us laugh. I can still hear your laugh and remember how you laughed when Matt gave you death stares for your hijinks! Do you remember the time you broke Matt’s bed? Or flooded his bathroom when you and Liz took a bubble bath in your clothes? Or the time you spilled the potted plant in Matt’s living room? Or broke one of his dad’s marigold in his front yard and “fixed” it with a toothpick so he wouldn’t notice? I love and miss you so much! I am so incredibly devastated. ??
