Our little angel, Nicole Lynn ‘Niki’ Hesser, was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 while at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born August 15, 1981, she was a daughter of Donna and John Hesser of Hopewell Township. Niki touched everyone’s heart with her radiant smile and outgoing personality with the staff and residents of McGuire Memorial Home where she formerly resided as well as the Community Home in Brighton Township where she currently resided. She was a social young lady who enjoyed being around others and joking with staff, leafing through books with large colorful pictures and having them read to her, listening to music -the oldies and doo wop, working with her blocks and beans, her babies, going out to eat, coloring and painting and liked chai tea, coffee, milkshakes, hot chocolate and particularly M & Ms. Niki was a 2003 graduate of New Horizon School. A smile costs nothing but gives much. Niki gave away her smiles, hugs and kisses so freely that everyone was enriched by her.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her parents, a brother, John E (Kacy) Hesser of Industry and a niece, Bailey Maie Hesser. Two aunts Sherry (Frank) Filippelli of Monaca and Sara ‘Putzie’ Hill of Center Township. Three cousins Debbie (Victor) DeCristoforo of Copley, Ohio, Katherine ‘Kitty’ (Kelly) Hogan of Brighton Township and Stacie Shearer of Beaver. She also leaves an extended family and numerous friends.
Friends will be received on Sunday, November 7th from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Monaca United Methodist Church, 813 Indiana Avenue, Monaca.
The family would like to thank McGuire Memorial Home and Community Home who lovingly cared for Niki throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired to McGuire Memorial Home, 2119 Mercer Road, New Brighton, PA. 15066.

John & Family : Sorry to hear of Niki's passing as I know she will be greatly missed by all those lives she touched. I really enjoyed seeing her and seeing that infectious smile and hearing that incredible laughter during my time at McGuire Memorial. She was such a sweet spirit and had a way of always brightening my day!! My prayers are with you.

Niki will ALWAYS be a piece of my childhood. She was a true blessing and such a beautiful woman.

To my dearest Hesser Who, thank you for being an enriching part of my life for decades. I was lucky enough to meet you on my first day of work, and cherished your friendship. From our classroom shenanigans, dancing to the tall tall trees, singing opera, working out, flying in musicals, haunting the hallways,theme parks, to dear Tabitha, every smile and every hug - I will always remember your cheerfully optimistic soul! You were always the sweet lady who would let nothing stand in your way and always voiced your opinion. I learned so much from your example and have forever been changed because of it. Rest now for you have earned your rewards. Enjoy the time with all of those who went before us. Until we meet again, you will always be a cherished part of my heart.

We grew up together Nik. Just 10 years and 2 days older than me. My mom brought you home we listened to music and played. I never thought I would work here too, but getting to work with you was seriously the best of times. Always smooching on me showing me that big beautiful smile. When I try to get you to do a goal "geeeeeeeze". I love you from the very bottom of my heart Hesser who! We become family with so many of you guys, but you and were soul sisters! We had a special bond growing old together lol. We both just celebrated our big birthdays 40 and 30. Everyday you brighten my morning coming into day program talking to me and showing me your beautiful infectious smile. Your giggle and sweetness brighten every room. It won't be the same with out baby girl. As I write this with tears pouring down my face I love you like my own sweetheart. Forever my soul sister. I love you tiny tot heaven gained the most beautiful little angel

I worked with Niki for 5 years. She was always a spark of sunshine with her beautiful smile. She definitely made my days many times . Loved that gal. May she run freely with the angels. God bless you Sweetie!

Dear Donna, John and John: I am so deeply sorry for your loss of a precious Angel who would light up a room with her presence. I have the fondest and most cherished memories of Nicole from the first day I met her and the many times you visited with her at McGuire! She had the brightest smile, gave the best hugs and could give you the sweetest kiss. Please know that I keep each of you in my prayers at this time.
