Patricia A. Dockter, 80, a lifelong resident of Monaca, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2016.Born October 18, 1935, in Monaca, she was the oldest child of the late John and Margaret McDonald. A graduate of Monaca High School, Class of 1953, she was employed as head of sales at the former Gimbel’s Department Store, in the Beaver Valley Mall. Patricia enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was also a participant of Life Beaver County.In addition to her parents Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and a son, John.She will be sadly missed by a daughter, Bobbi A. Connifey of Chippewa, a son, Randy Dockter of Brighton Township; a daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Dockter of Monaca; grandchildren, Allison Dockter, Emily Dockter (Brad Kunz), Tyler (Stacy) Connifey, Cameron Connifey, Renee (Ed) Russman, Nicki (Josh) Ream, Robert ‘R.J.’ Dockter and Elizabeth Mogyorosi; a cherished great-granddaughter, Addison Russman, and a great-grandson ‘on the way’. Also surviving are two brothers, J. Edward McDonald of Phoenix, AZ, and David (Kathy) McDonald of Gardner, KS; a brother-in-law, Stewart ‘Dutch’ Barto of Monaca and two special cousins, Marilyn Brush and Sue Henderson.Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
