Paul David Burkholder, 94, of Center Township, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015. His passing occurred peacefully at his residence.Born in Newville, he was a son of the late John Lee and Mary Burkholder. Following his graduation from Philadelphia School of Pharmacy, Paul proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a career pharmacist who resided with his wife, Wanda, in central Pennsylvania prior to relocating to Center Township in 1984.He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Wanda J. (Cavanaugh); a son, Ronald Burkholder and his wife, Lynn; a daughter, Wanda Kay Shildt and her husband, Gary; three grandchildren, Erica Shildt, Matthew (Julie) Shildt and Stephanie Shildt; four great-grandchildren, Kyara and Brayden Parrish and Sydney and Jason Shildt; two brothers, William (Jean) Burkholder and John (Joann) Burkholder and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Robert and a sister, Helen Nickel.Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21st, at 1 p.m. at Church of the Brethren, 16 Carlisle Road, Newville. Rev. John F.
