Paul R. Herbold, Jr., 73, of Center Twp., passed through the gates of Heaven on June 8, 2012, with his loving wife at his side. His passing occurred at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born November 3, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Paul Sr. and Helen (Maly) Herbold. Paul was a retiree of UPS and an avid golfer.
He leaves his beloved wife of 54 years, Judith A. Herbold; a son, Paul R. III; a daughter-in-law, Robin (Mrs. Gregory) Herbold; five grandchildren, Whitney and Paul IV Herbold, Stetson Herbold, Stephanie Lynch and Jessica Taylor and two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Bella Herbold.
Along with his parents he was preceded by a son, Gregory, and a brother, Arthur.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. Donald W. MacNeil will officiate.
A special thanks to the second floor nurses and speech therapists at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, for the loving care Paul received. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to their good friends, Doug and Chris Campbell, for their steadfast support during Paul?s illness and to all his friends who called.
