God saw you getting tired,

and a cure was not to be,

So he put His arms around you,

and whispered

“Come with me.”

With tearful eyes

we watched you suffer,

and saw you fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

you’re now at peaceful rest.

God broke our hearts

to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

Pete passed away on August 2, 2020. He was a wonderful husband and partner to Mary Lou and a proud and loving father to Scott (Paula) and Jennifer (Sharon). He adored his granddaughters; Isabella and Sophia Scarfone, his sister Jeanette (Melvin) McFarland, his brother-in-law, Chuck Lyons and many nephews and nieces who he loved very much. Pete was the founder and previous owner of S&S Fasteners.

There will be no services due to the COVID 19.

Thank you for being a best friend to my dad while growing up and long, long after. My dad has told many stories of the two of you. When I look back at pictures of you and my dad in the 1960’s, you not only looked like brothers, you looked like twins! You both looked so cool in your sunglasses and sharp, fashionable clothes standing next to your impeccable, shiny cars. I will always keep you in my heart. Love Nadine

MaryLou, I can't believe that Pete is gone from your family. It seems like yesterday that you were talking about your engagement in gym class. We couldn't wait for gym to hear you talk about Pete.
