I have know Pete my whole life. I would come down to my aunt's flower shop and he would be there helping make arrangements and delivering flowers. I could not wait to see him because I had so much fun with him joking around. He would show me how to make flower arrangements and even let me make some while giving me pointers in the fine art of flower arrangements. Pete had the patience of a saint working with me. I was an ornery 9 or 10 year old boy full of piss and vinegar. Little did he know, that he taught this ornery boy patience, humor, and compassion that I use every day of my life! He will always be with me. After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us. My condolences.

Pete was a dear and sweet friend to my Mom and Dad and I've known him all of my life. I remember struggling with the spelling of his last name when addressing my wedding invitations (1972). The Christmas cards stopped about the time Dad had a stroke and the folks moved to East Liverpool, OH with me. When Pete didn't come to Dad or Mom's funeral, my brother and I assumed Pete was in ill health and unable get there. He was missed and in our thoughts and prayers. I will always remember him as a gentle soul. RIP, Pete. You left a lasting memory in my heart.
