June 20, 1958 – February 10, 2023
Rebecca J. Makara, 64, of Aliquippa, passed into the loving arms of the Lord, Friday, February 10, 2023, at Brighton Wellness Center, Beaver. Born June 20, 1958, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth “Betty” Just.
Becky was a free spirit, guided by her own understanding of the world. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Makara, daughter, Betty Jean Pinkerton and her beloved friend and father of three of her children Lewis Pinkerton.
Surviving are four children, three sons, Lewis E. Pinkerton, Andrew Makara, Jonathan Young and a daughter, Anna (Joseph) McCullough; and many loving grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather for a memorial service and viewing on February 20, 2023, at 2pm with a service starting at 3pm luncheon to follow at Aliquippa Christian Assembly, 166 W Shaffer Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001
