Pastor John and Peggy, my first week of training at McGuire in 2003 I was shown this poem and it was one that I will never forget and I believe one that will make you smile and think of that beautiful girl with her gorgeous smile that would always be sure to light up the room. God Bless you both, it was so evident at the service yesterday how greatly you are loved and and how much Becky meant to so many of us. What an important job being a parent is. To think that you accepted her at the age of 18 months, which is the age of my daughter right now, really tugs at my heart. Here is the poem: Heaven's Very Special Child by Edna Massimilla A meeting was held, quite far from earth "It's time again for another birth" Said the Angels to the Lord above, "This special child will need much love" Her progress may seem very slow, Accomplishments she may not show And she'll require extra care From all the folks she meets down there. She may not run or laugh or play Her thoughts may seem quite far away In many ways she won't adapt, And she'll be known as handicapped. So let's be careful where she's sent We want her life to be content Please, Lord, find the right parents who Will do this special job for You. They will not realize right away The leading role they're asked to play But with this child sent from above Comes stronger faith and richer love. And soon they'll know the privilege given In caring for this gift from Heaven. Their precious charge, so meek and mild Is heaven's very special child. And with "special" - that doesn't even begin to encompass Becky as a whole. She was so many things wrapped into a sweet and loving face with a gentle, funny nature and I will always feel such a privilege to be able to think about the wonderful times I had with her and how much of a difference she made in my life. I will never forget that smile or that laugh (or even that "whatever" face too!). Thank you so much, to both of you, for showing me what a true and loving parent is. I strive to provide the comfort and happiness for my daughter that you provided for Becky. Love, Becky Krynicki

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star-shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.

After caring for Becky for over 8yrs; words can not describe just how much I will miss her beautiful smile and crinkled up nose when she realized that I was there with her. I loved her like she was one of my own children, and she knew that. I rejoice in knowing that Becky is safely in our Lords loving care.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.
