Regina S. ‘Jeannie’ (Wasko) Baumbach, 58, of Aliquippa, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Saturday, November 8, 2014.She was born in Sewickley, PA, on January 15, 1956 to Joseph and Violet Wasko of Baden, PA. She was the oldest of three daughters and was retired. Jeannie loved her faith and family and spending time with her grandchildren was her ultimate joy. Jeannie also enjoyed walking her dogs, reading, and working out at the YMCA. Jeannie never met a stranger. She was the one who was always there no matter who needed her.Jeannie was preceded in death by her son, David Jr., and her father, Joseph Wasko.She is survived by her sons, Mark (Misty) Baumbach of Baden, PA and James Baumbach, of Aliquippa, with whom she resided. She also leaves behind her mother, Violet; her sisters, Debi Wasko of Baden and Cindy Wasko of Monaca; her beloved grandchildren, Kodie and Cameron Zuschlag, Alyssa Baumbach, Alivia and Mason Wild, and Logan Sullivan; her nephew, Brian Stead of Monaca; her niece, Amy (Bryan) Madden of New Brighton and their sons, Caleb and Dylan, and many friends and relatives.There will be a private family service.Arrangements are being handled by the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca (724-728-4000).‘I’ve gone home to see my Father; I’ve gone home so don’t you cry.
