Rene Dawn Reda, 46 of Ellwood City was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Her passing occurred at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by her husband, Dan, and her four children, who will miss her deeply.Born July 26, 1969, in Weirton, WV, she was a daughter of the late Estel and Beverly Joan (Denger) Jeffery. A graduate of Pendleton High School, Class of 1987, in Pendleton, IN, Rene attended Kaplan Career Institute for nursing. She was active in the Christian community, attending several churches, and sang as a soloist for worship services. Her finest achievements were her children, whom she home schooled. Recently, Rene taught herself to crochet.She is survived by her husband, Daniel I. Reda, with whom she was united in marriage on May 19, 2007; four children, Kristopher, Emilee, Benjamin and Nathaniel; three ‘adopted’ children, Brian, Danny and Kali; seven siblings, Estel (Nancy) Jeffrey, Bill Jeffery, Sherrin Price, Bruce (Debbie) Jeffery, Keith (Karla) Jeffery, David Scott Jeffery and Vincent (Millie) Jeffery, and numerous nieces and nephews.Along with her parents Rene was preceded in death by her sister, Lesli J. Staats who preceded her in death on August 30, 2009, her brother, Thomas Aaron Jeffery and her niece, Katryna Shae Jeffery.Friends will be received on Monday, August 17th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am.
