Richard L. Steward, 63, of Center Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born on August 6, 1954, he was a son of the late Floyd L. and Lora Jane (Rizor) Steward. Richard was born in California and lived in Missouri before relocating to Center Township. A Vietnam War Veteran, Richard proudly served in the US Marines and US Army. He was a die hard Dodgers and Pirates fan and developed a passion for trading baseball cards. Richard was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Richard is survived by his companion, Susie Turley, her son Marvin, her mother, Jackie Wood, his children; Mike ‘Mudd’ (Rhonda) Steward, Lisa (Clint) Bennett, Tina Gillespie ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a brother Mike Steward and two cats, Molly & Ice. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grand daughters, Michaela Lynn Gillespie and Melanie Anne McGuire. Friends will be received on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at North Branch Presbyterian Church, North Branch Road, Monaca with Reverend Deborah Huffmyer officiating with full military honors by the Beaver County Special Unit at 11:30 am at the church.
