Richard P. Carrico

Richard P. \”Dick\” Carrico, 83, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Friendship Ridge, Brighton Township.

Born December 12, 1925, in Preston Co. WV, he was a son of the late Paul and Ada (Croston) Carrico. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. A retired manager of maintenance and training for US Airways, Dick spent his leisure time tinkering and rebuilding antique cars. He was a member of the Tomlinson Run Church of Christ, Georgetown

He leaves his wife, Ruth Carrico; three sons, D. Carrico of Fla. and his children, Matthew, Danielle, Josh and twins, Richard and Robert; Richard Carrico and his wife, Christine of Columbus, OH and their children, Alex, Katrina and Nicholas, and Paul J. Carrico and his wife, Ginger, of Georgetown, and their children, Cole and Travis, and a sister, Ann Lineberry and her husband, Walter, in Georgia.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Carrico.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the WELCH FUNERAL HOME, Hookstown. Mr. Paul R. Blake, minister of the church, will officiate. Friends will be received on Saturday from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.

Full military honors will be provided at the cemetery on Saturday at 1:50 p.m. by the Beaver County Special Unit.
