Robert A. Pasteur, 84 of Rochester and formerly of New Brighton went to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his beloved wife, Marlene on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Born October 5, 1935 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late John and Anna Marie (Hinebaugh) Pasteur.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Marlene, his son, Robert, Jr., and two brothers: Eddie and Jimmy Pasteur.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Terri Pasteur, his sister, Debbie (Dan) Eha of Indianapolis, Indiana, a sister-in-law, Donna McGraw, five exceptional nieces; Sonia, Tracey, Lesley, Cindi and Joyce, a daughter-in-law, Marie (Rossi) Pasteur, five grandchildren; Danielle (Damon) Priddy, Monica Pasteur and Brock Pasteur, all of Florida, Heather (James) Hall of New Brighton and Shannon Stewart of Rochester, six great grandchildren; Braxton, Brooklyn, Brayelynn, Alexandria, John-Joseph, and Olivia. He will also be sadly missed by two very good friends, Gary and George, and last but not least a very dear friend who he considered a son, Frank Salamone.
Robert will always be remembered as a hard-working and loving father, a wonderful husband, an exceptional grandfather and a one-of-a-kind genuine man to all that knew him.
