Robert George Violand, 86 of Independence Township passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.
Mr. Violand was a retired US Navy Chief. Later in life, looking for something to do, he worked with special needs children at the Aliquippa Elementary School which brought him great joy.
He leaves his wife of 67 years, Rosellen Violand, and four of his five children.
To honor Bob’s wishes, no viewing or services will be held.
Bob expressed to his family his deep appreciation and love for the LDS Church members in the Beaver Ward, Center Township, and the association he had with them.
