Robert L. Davison, 77 of Rochester passed away Saturday, Nov 5, 2011 at Heritage Valley, Beaver after a lengthy illness.

Born Jan 20, 1934, he was a son of the late Wylie and Sadie J. (Barto) Davison. Bob was raised in Monaca and was a graduate of Monaca High School, class of 1952. He entered the U S Air Force in 1953 and served as a staff sergeant until being honorably discharged in 1957.

Mr. Davison chose a career in banking and retired as an executive vice president of Rochester Federal Savings & Loan in Rochester. He was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

The last of his immediate family, he leaves his wife of 56 years, Frances C. Chott Davison; three children, Christine, Robert (Tracy) and Brad (Susie) and four grandchildren, Jamie Barns, Thomas Safran, Alex and Trevor Davison.

As per Bob?s wishes, there will be no viewing. A private family service will be held at a later date.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired, to the Beaver County Humane Society, PO Box 63, Rt. #18, Monaca, PA. 15061.

Lee and I were the best of friends during our high school days and repained so. Most knew him as Bob. Lee ws like my brother and we shared all our problems and secrets. I miss him and know that he is in a better place and is free of pain. I loved this man. I offer my best wishes to his familey and to Fran His devoted wife. I know Lee loved you when we were in High school and told me that some day he was going to marry you.

Lee and I were the best of friends during our high school years and stayed in touch over the years. I thought of Lee as a brother and we had a lot of good times. I will miss this friend and offer my condolences to his family and especially to his wife Fran. I loved this man like a brother. May he rest in peace.
