Roberta J. Everly, 90, formerly of Hookstown, was called to Heaven on Saturday, March 10, 2018.Born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania on December 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Charlotte Margaret (Gerstmeyer) Everly.  Roberta was a retired hospital file clerk. One who enjoyed living in a warmer climate, she had previously made her home in Arizona and Texas. Roberta also had a keen interest in Western Indian culture.Roberta leaves a brother, Robert D. Everly and his wife Faith of Clinton, a sister, Kathleen Collins and her husband Michael of Olive Hill Kentucky and several nieces and nephewsIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 PM in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.  Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.

Sorry for your loss. In the past several months, Roberts spent time with our family as we waited for lunch trays to arrive. She often told us it was too cold here in Ohio and she preferred a warmer climate. Roberta and my husband would talk about the Steelers and Pirates. She will be missed.
