Roger P. Bartholomew, 82, formerly of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 3, 2018.A son of the late John and Elizabeth (Kapp) Bartholomew, Roger was a car enthusiast who owned and operated Roger’s Kustom Shop and Auto Sales, Monaca. He was well known for his one of a kind auto and van conversions and particularly for his custom painting. Roger also enjoyed drag racing and had previously taught auto body at Beaver County Career and Technology Center.   He was a U S Air Force veteran and had previously been employed at J & L Steel’s Aliquippa works.Roger is survived by his wife for 60 years, Eileen (Southard) Bartholomew, his children; Richard Bartholomew, Debra (Dale) Yard, Renee (Late John) Engleman, and Lisa Bartholomew, grandchildren; Paige Engelman and Ben Yard..Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where prayers will be recited on Thursday at 9:10 am  followed by a Mass of Christian Burial  at 10:00 AM at St. Monica Catholic Church, Chippewa with Reverend Father Kim J.
