Rose Ann Fogg, 64, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 27, 2011, following an extended illness.
Born November 4, 1946, in Rochester, she was one of nine children born to the late Ulysses and Stella A. (Chott) Fogg and was raised in Monaca. Rose was previously employed at B & W Steel, Ambridge and later worked as a hairdresser in Rochester. A longtime trustee of the Sons of Italy, New Brighton, Rose was often in the kitchen helping with club functions.. Rose loved to travel locally, shop and spend time with her friends.
She leaves four siblings, Charles (Audrey) Fogg of Biloxi, MS, Richard (Ruth Ann) Fogg of Rochester, Elizabeth Eunice Norton of Rochester and Mary (Joseph) Masterson of Monaca; two brothers in law: Mark Hill of Rochester and Richard Dockter of Monaca; numerous nieces and nephews. Rose also leaves several close friends: Barb, Tony and Karen Smith and her S.O.I family.
In addition to her parents Rose was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Jim Fogg and two sisters, Alice Hill and Stella Jean Dockter.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Richard Liptak of Wildwood Chapel will officiate.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Monaca.
