Barbara "JANE" Weaver Davis left a message on June 14, 2017:
I fondly remember the visits back to Southern Illinois that Aunt Ruby made with her family. Her daughter Barbara is a few years younger than I am, but we had some great times together and are still in touch. I'm sorry that Daddy's (Hoss) last sibling is gone. The Weaver family left us with some great values and commitment to family. Know that you are in our prayers at this time of loss.

I was always amazed when Barb would talk about the things her Mother was doing despite her age. My deepest sympathy to Barb and her family. May all the good memories help at this time. She now rests in the arms of our Dear Lord. Alice Marie Boyle

I remember good times in West Frankfort when aunt Ruby and her other siblings would come back for visits. It is a sobering thought to think she is the last of our family belonging to the greatest generation. My dad Austin ( Hoss ) was also laid to rest on June 14, flag day.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.

Ruby made a delicious cake with seafoam icing & coconut for my birthday when I visited her with Barb one year. When she knew I was coming down to see her, she would have that cake
