Russell Measel

Russell Measel, 91 of Center Township passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the age of 91.
Born November 25, 1930 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Frank and Florence Measel.
Russel worked for over 25 years at J & L Steel Corp’ tin mill in Aliquippa until 1983 when the mill closed. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Center Township.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy Noyh Measel and three grandsons , Kevin, Greg and Josh who truly loved him.
The last of his immediate family, he was preceded in death by his parents, his only child Cindy Measel Davidson and his siblings: Arthur, Clifford, Oscar, Frank, Grace Catanese and Ruth Sovick.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 16th at Mary, Queen of Saints parish, St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 115 Trinity Drive, Aliquippa. Interment will follow in St John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Monaca.
Funeral arrangements have entrusted to SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.
