Ruth A. Carrico, 79 of Rochester passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her home.Born January 15, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Roberts.Ruth was a retired employee of Caterer Air at the Pittsburgh International Airport. She had a ‘green thumb’ and took much pride in her flower gardens and regularly played bingo at the Pulaski Twp. Vol. Fire Co. Her selfless nature was demonstrated in her care for her aged mother as well as for her late husband, Richard who was afflicted with Alzheimer’s.She leaves three sons: D. Carrico of Fla. and his children: Matthew, Danielle, Josh, and twins, Richard and Robert; Richard Carrico and his wife, Christine, of Columbus, Ohio and their children, Alex, Katrina and Nicholas; and Paul J. Carrico and his wife, Ginger of Georgetown their children, Cole and Travis. A sister, Sharon Rowan of Rochester. A brother, John ‘Buddy’ Roberts and his wife, Ellen of Clearwater, Fla. and a sister in law, Judy Roberts in GA.In addition to her parents and late husband, Richard, Ruth was preceded in death by a brother, Charles.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 1001 10th Avenue, New Brighton.
