Sara S. ‘Tootsie’ Kolarchik, 78 of Center Township entered Eternal Life with her husband, Joe on Friday, September 11, 2015. Her passing occurred at Elmcroft of Chippewa due to Alzheimer’s.Born December 22, 1936 in Aliquippa, she was one of three children born to the late John and Anna Soloman.Since high school, Tootsie was employed with Miller & Sons Chevrolet in Aliquippa where she remained for over 35 years. At the time of her retirement, she was acting as the dealership’s business manager. She was a devout member of St. Vladimar Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ambridge.In addition to her parents, Tootsie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Kolarchik on December 17, 2004. Her brother, William Soloman on June 18, 2015 and her brother in law, Andrew ‘Skin’ Dobo on March 14, 2002.She is survived by a sister, Wilma ‘Sis’ Dobo of Aliquippa, A sister in law, Mary Soloman in Maryland, two nephews: Dr. Andrew (Joanne) Dobo in Melbourne, Florida and their children, Andrew and John Murphy Dobo; Robert (Susan) Dobo of Monaca and their children, Ashlee Scassa and Ian Dobo.Three nieces: Carol Drudge in Ohio, Patty Albert in Maryland and Adrienne Johnson in Colorado.Friends will be received on Monday, Sept 14th from 9 a.m. until the time of a requiem funeral service at 10 a.m. in St. Vladimar Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 313 Ninth Street, Ambridge. The Very Reverend Michael Kochis will officiate. Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired to the St Vladimar Endowment Fund, c/o the church.The family wishes to extend a note of gratitude to Dr. Timothy Jackson and his nurse, Chris for their attentive care and compassion and to Elmcroft /Heartland Village staff especially LynnMarie, Loretta, Marlynn, and Kathy D. for their friendship and the tender care Tootsie received.
