Shirley A. Turkovich, 85, formerly of Monaca, passed away on January 9, 2018.Born on November 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Florenz and Anna (Maytuch) Eichenlaub of Vanport.  Shirley was a wonderful baker and a meticulous housekeeper.She is survived by two children; Cheryl A. (Eric) Tonsetic of Bethel Park, Richard (Tracey) Turkovich of Monaca, three grandchildren; Ashley, Richard and Irelyn, one brother, Robert Eichenlaub, Sr. of Vanport.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Turkovich in 2010, two sisters, Elizabeth DiFucci and Doris Polzot.Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where prayers will be offered at 9:30 AM on Friday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.  Entombment will follow in Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
