Shirley will be sadly missed by the staff and board of Habitat for Humanity of Beaver County. She was an advocate for families throughout Beaver County to be able to have a decent place to live. Shirley served on our board as the treasurer for many years. I considered Shirley not only a colleague but a friend. Our prayers and sympathy are extended to her family.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.

To our dear Lyden family, My family is sincerely saddened by the loss of your mother, Shirley, to all her family and friends, and especially to our dear friends Joe and Connie. In time the grief will give way to wonderful memories of your mom and dad and the fun times you had together, but now is the most difficult, most saddest part. Be assured you all our in our prayers and that she is not longer suffering and is at peace. We can only take so much pain, when our bodies give out. Now she can rest for a time. Revelation 21:4 says that "there will be no more death, outcry or pain" and it's a wonderful hope for us all. Please accept our sincere condolences.Ed, Sandy and Cassie Marketich

Shirley will be greatly missed by so many, including myself. I looked forward to talking with her in the office. She was honest and kind, and never let on that she was too busy to answer your questions or listen to your story. Her smile, and her laugh will be forever impressed in my heart.
Annette (Baker) Wright left a message on January 27, 2015:
Anyone who really knew Shirley treasured her as a friend. Her many gifts and talents would take many pages to describe. But I will remember her as a friend of upright faith, gentleness, with a tender smile and the voice of an angel. May God bless you, dear Shirley, and comfort your family.
