Uncle Bob will be dearly missed! I have fond memories growing up and visiting our PA family, and Uncle Bob always made us laugh and let us crawl all over him. His warm and kind hearted nature will live on in memory through the Shannon/Steele family ♥️. Love, Lindsay, Jeff and Nikko

We've lost our favorite uncle Bob way too early. I have so many fun memories with him and am very fortunate that he was a big part of my life from birth to college and beyond. At times he was like a father, brother, friend and ultimately a great uncle to many generations of the Shannon offspring! We had a lot of good times fishing, camping, and just being a close family. We watched a lot of Chiller Theater and the early days of pro wrestling and munched on many Center Pizzas together! I still have a little slip of paper that was a shopping list from one of our many camping trips - it says "beer and ketchup". Short, sweet and always a funny reminder of the good 'ol days! RIP Uncle Bob you will be missed. Tom

Bob will be missed by so many people. He was such a kind, loving, lighthearted man. I will remember all the fun times spent at church activities, and our bowling. He would keep everyone entertained with his wit and charm. There is much sadness in my heart for this loss, but Bob is keeping heaven entertained now. My heart goes out to Mary Beth and family at this time. Just know we all love you.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.

Fred McDanel Gordon Jr. left a message on November 20, 2021:
I got to know Stanley better in the last ten (10) years or more here on Fb than I remember in High School. He was always an encouragement to all who interacted with him on social media. I always enjoyed his camping pictures, boating and fishing, and especially his love for his wife, family, and grandchildren. There's a big hole left here on earth for our dear friend and brother of CHS, 72'. God comfort the family, friends, and community, and we rejoice as Jesus welcomed Stanley, declaring "Well done, my good and faithful servant," Rest in Peace, my dear friend. Fred

Bob will be missed by family, friends, neighbors, church members. He could be seen by neighbors walking a dog of his choice many days. Bob enjoyed bowling and having fun with fellow bowlers. He enjoyed his grandchildren and camping with Mary Beth. May you rest in peace.
