Stephanie B. Trella Krupp, 82, of Monaca, was welcomed into God’s loving arms on Tuesday afternoon, September 27, 2011, surrounded by her three children.
Born August 26, 1929, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Wilczek) Trella. A lifelong resident of Monaca, Stephanie was a graduate of Monaca High School, Class of 1947, and a loyal and proud fan of her alma mater, the Monaca Indians sports teams. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Krupp had previously worked as a waitress at the Monaca Hotel, a store clerk at Antoline’s News Stand and later as a school crossing guard . She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Krupp was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Krupp, on Dec 10, 1982. She was also preceded by three brothers, Joseph, Edward and infant, Henry Robert Trella.
She leaves a sister, Frances Gebet of Pittsburgh; three children, Sandie Bowan and her husband, Kenneth, of Brighton Twp., Donald Krupp and his wife, Marie, of Rochester and Mary Lynn Krupp of Brighton Twp.; seven grandchildren of whom she was most proud, Natalie (Joe) Moritz of Dilliner, Sean (Stephanie) Miller of Monaca, Chris (Sarah) Krupp of State College, Justin (Rachel) Miller of Rochester, Amy Bowan of Industry, Nathan (Courtney) Krupp of Clarksville, TN., and Adam (Samantha) Krupp of Charlotte, N.C.; nine adoring great-grandchildren, Joseph Henry and Samuel Moritz, Owen and Zack Smith, Emma Miller, Connor Krupp, Griffin Krupp. Alexander Krupp and Aubrey Miller; three nephews, Ron (MaryAnn) Gebet and their daughter, Jackie; Gary (Natalie) Gebet and Michael Trella, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724-728-4000), where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Father George Chotos will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
