Stephen P. Talopski, 84 of White Township formerly of Aliquippa passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.
Born in Aliquippa, he was a son of the late George and Susie Tapolski.
Steve honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a medic. He worked for the majority of his life for the U.S. Post Office, first at the Aliquippa U.S. Post Office and later at the Cupertino, CA. U.S. Post Office. He was a former member of St Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa and currently a member of St Monica Catholic Church, Chippewa.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Kennedy Tapolski, three children: Marilyn, Tony and Daniel. Eight grandchildren: Charlene and Jason, Jennifer, Andy, Daniel Jr. and Jacob and Amanda and Stephen. Ten great grandchildren.
He was the youngest and last surviving of his immediate family of eleven children.
Friends will be received on Monday, July 15th from 10 a.m. until the time of a blessing service at 11 a.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. Interment with military honors will be follow in Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aliquippa.
