Steven Dale McCracken

Steven Dale McCracken, Sr., 57, of Monaca, passed away on December 13, 2017 after a courageous battle with lung cancer at Heritage Valley, Beaver.Born on May 15, 1960, he was the son of the late Samuel Cecil., Sr. and Myrtle Ann (Murphy) McCracken.  He was a graduate of Rochester High school and employed by Shick’s Service in Monaca for 24 years.  Steven loved spending time with his family and friends and loved his camp at Hart’s Content.Steven will be sadly missed by his wife of 24 years, Janine Marie McCracken, 5 children; Shawn Paul (Sara) Bailey of Hookstown, Steve Dale (Stephanie) McCracken, Jr. of Center Township, Andrew Scott McCracken and fiancé Kaela Castelucci of Ellwood City, James (Ashley) Heibert, Jr. of Rochester, Robert Heibert of Waynesburg, eight grandchildren; Savannah, Cadence, Ariana and Brantley Bailey, Hunter, Easton and Kaylee McCracken and Melanie Alexander.  A sister Nancy (Bob) Mayhue of Florida, and a brother Randy (Becky) McCracken of Rochester.  Also many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Samuel McCracken, Jr. and his wife, Pat of Center Township.Friends will be received on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca where services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
