Steven Michael Aurin

Steven ‘Arnie’ Michael Aurin, 57, formerly of Raccoon Township passed away at his home in Monaca, on March 1, 2018 after a long battle with brain cancer.  He is the son of Donald K. and Pauline (Klem) Aurin of Raccoon Township.  He was a member of Union local 912, Union Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers.Arnie is survived by his wife, Tommi ‘Denea’ (Schmidt) Aurin, a son Steven ‘Cody’ Aurin, a daughter, Shannon Rae Aurin, a step-son, Skylar Thomas Miller, two brothers; Clifford and Dale Aurin, a sister and brother in law, Tara & Andy Gottschalk and niece, Kelly, his father and mother in law, Bob and Bonnie Schmidt, brother in law, Rob Schmidt, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca followed by a prayer service at 6:00 pm.“God Saw You Getting Tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me”.  With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and although we love you dearly we could not make you stay.  A Golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest.  God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best”.To share online condolences, get directions and other information, please visit simpsonfuneralhome.com.
