Sylvia R. Ursich

Sylvia R. Ursich, 93 of Monaca .passed away on Saturday morning, December 8, 2018.Sylvia was born on April 13, 1925, a daughter of Croatian immigrants, Frank and Mary (Kutevac) Frankovich.She and her late husband, Steve made their home on Allaire Avenue , Monaca where they raised two sons. Following Steve’s passing on November 11, 1988, Sylvia moved into the Edgecombe Apartments in Monaca. She was employed for a number of years at the former Kaufmann’s Department Store when it was located in Rochester.Sylvia delighted in spending time with her two sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren and as well as their pets which she also considered as family.The last member of her immediate family, Sylvia was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Clarence Frankovich and two sisters, Helen Verban and Lillian Winston.She leaves two sons, Steve Ursich and Donald (Michelle) Ursich. Four grandchildren: Stephen Ursich, Wendy (Jason) Lewis, Donald Kim) Ursich, Jr. and Kimberly (Phil) Smiley. Four great grandchildren: Jack, Annabelle, Maxwell and Olivia.Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremations Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca  where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am.
