Terrance Richard ‘Terry’ Floyd, 62 of Monaca passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 peacefully and surrounded by his loving family.Born in Rochester, he was the son of the late Richard ‘Dick’ Floyd and Marion Shaffer Floyd of Monaca. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Richard) Wright of Michigan and his son, Matthew (Jennie) Floyd of Imperial. Eight grandchildren who adored their Pappy T.: Rex, Syd, and Eve Wright of Michigan, and Brooke, Cody, Evan, Aliza and Deagan Floyd of Imperial, a brother, Dennis (Brenda) Floyd of Hookstown. His ex-wife, Joyceann Paich -Floyd, with whom he remained friends. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Known as ‘Pink Floyd’ by many of his friends, he loved to party and have a good time. He enjoyed his life to the fullest. His famous motto was “We are here on earth to have fun”.Friends will be received on Thursday, April 26th from 4-8 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061 Washington Ave., Monaca where services will be held on Friday at 10am.
