Thomas Joseph Nichol, 51, of Monaca, was taken Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2013. Tommy was our Special Angel that touched the lives of many people and taught each one of us how to be loving, caring and compassionate toward others. He will always hold a special place on our hearts forever. God has blessed us with an angel to take care of and love for 51 years. Our family will now have an angel to keep watch over us from Heaven.
Tommy was born on December 21, 1961 and was a son of the late Thomas ?Chick? Nichol.
Surviving are his mother, Julia (Elmer) Nichol, who has provided Tommy with the most outstanding loving care throughout his entire life; brothers and sisters, Joe (Sherri) Nichol of Chippewa, Lisa (James) Ross, Julie Nichol (Chuck Hood) and Jeff (Gretchen) Nichol; nephews, Jimmy Ross, Josh Nichol, Danny Baldwin, Joseph Ross, Kyle Nichol and Joey Nichol and niece, Alyssa Nichol. He also leaves special aunts and uncles, Marian (Melvin) Sampson, Debbie Elmer, June Elmer, Dorothy Nichol and Sis Nichol, all of Monaca, along with numerous cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you for all the loving care given to Tommy by Terri Miller, Anna Marie Adino and Laurie Maylak; they were all Tommy?s special nurse angels. We would also like to thank Dr. Patrick Sturm for always providing Tommy with the utmost care and special attention.
