Dennis Brayshaw left a message on March 5, 2016:
In memory of Tommy, who I loved very much when growing up and sharing in sports. Tommy was always smoking, even when we were young. His love for the Steelers played an important role in his life. He knew all of them and could recall the times when they were near the playoffs or ahead of the game and doing exceptionally well. I loved Tommy because I know Tommy loved me and my first wife very much. He was a wonderful comedian and had a whit of humor that far surpassed anyone on Sylvan Crest. He was tough too; full of jokes but dead serious when trampled on by anyone, including J&L Steel. He was good with guns and would probably had gone on more hunting trips with Harry and Teddy, if they only would have asked. I enjoyed having Tommy over the house because he made things seem less distressing. We would go down under the cave behind Teddy's and build fires or talk about funny things. Tommy added fun times and kept us kids from dwelling on the past, with so many bad memories. He is very near and dear to my heart and maybe he could show me the ropes when I'm finally in heaven. All the Brayshaw kids loved you very much Tom. We took school off and went to Northern Lights, which now is more like a Dust Bowl. That area used to be alive and full of things to do. Much of our movie times were in Rochester at the Family and Oriental Theaters. Those were some fun times. Not long now Tom and we will all be there, enjoying God's green earth. We'll play baseball everyday and play up against the Nixon's, or swap teams around. Don't forget Tommy, you are near and dear to our hearts. Your nature was always not more than a spoonful away from all the gold in the valley. I thought of you as my best friend many times. Thank you for helping me understand the loss of my Mom keeping me happy and active as possible.

To Mcnear family Sorry to hear the loss of Tom. Also did not know that Harry passed in January of this year. A heart broken to close together. My prayers for all and know that Christ has both in his loving arms and taking care of them both and meeting your mom and dad once again. Remember Harry more than Tom, only because he was younger I guess, but just the same will miss them. I am cousin Fran,Aunt Ida's daughter(one of five) May God grant you peace and good memories Love, kisses and hugs from all our family the Chops xxoo Frances Lambing
