Verna Elaine (Krauss) Rose, 80, passed away on February 17, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Hospice Facility, Beaver, PA, after a courageous battle from Myelofibrosis. Born on October 6, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Verna and Frank Krauss. Elaine was a lifelong resident of Crescent Township, PA, and a member of the Civic Club. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and an avid bowler.
Elaine is survived by her brother, Frank Krauss Jr and wife Debbie, her son Scott (Jeff) Rose and wife Kim, her son, Dave Rose and wife Sandy, and her grandchildren, Scott, Jay, Madison, and Logan.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated with no viewing. Instead, there will be a Celebration of Life gathering to honor her on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn (Beaver Valley Mall), 2000 Wagner Rd Ext S, Monaca, PA 15061.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Elaine’s memory can be donated to the Hillman Cancer Center via hillmanresearch.upmc.edu/giving
