So, spread your wings as you go and I know when God took you back he said, “Hallelujah you’re home.”Violet Louise Wasko, 83, entered into heaven on her 83rd birthday on March 2, 2018. Her passing occurred unexpectedly at her home.Born on March 2, 1935 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Berlin and Virginia Sines and Ruth Crites. Violet was raised in Freedom and was Catholic by faith. She retired as a nurse’s aide at Sewickley Valley Hospital with 28 years of service. She never had a bad word to say about anyone.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Wasko in 2003, a daughter, Jeannie Baumbach, a grandson, David Baumbach, Jr., a brother, Burton Sines, and a sister, Polly Enigson.Violet is survived by two daughters; Debi and Cindy Wasko, 4 grandchildren; Mark (Misty) Baumbach, James Baumbach, Brian Stead, and Amy (Bryan) Madden, eight great grandchildren; Alyssa, Caleb, Dylan, Logan, Kodie, Cameron, Alivia and Mason, two brothers; Marvin (Ronnie) Sines and David (Judi) Earp, three sisters; Shirley (George) Savage, Bernice Ewanko, and Dorothy (Lynn) Rexroad and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, where a memorial service will be on Tuesday, March 6 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Gregory Clagg officiating.
