Virginia A. Antoline Krizan, 85 of Monaca passed away peacefully on Monday evening, June 7, 2021 with her family by her side at Cambridge Village, Patterson Township following a five year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Born on February 12, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Phillip P. and Maria C. (Petrella) Antoline. Virginia was a 1954 graduate of Monaca High School and a member of the Monaca Bicentennial Queen’s Court. She was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a Christian Mother. Virginia’s culinary skills were second to none with her cherry turnovers, fudge, potato salad and Italian specialties always well sought after. She was employed at the former Rochester K Mart for 30 years and later at Homemaker for Home Health Aide Service of Beaver County. The extra money she earned allowed her to enjoy one of her favorite past times of shopping. She also enjoyed attending her monthly card club and gathering at a theater with friends to watch a movie, particularly when Whoopi Goldberg was in the film. She was a longtime volunteer of Meals on Wheels and an avid Steeler fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stephan J. Krizan, Jr. and a son, David J. Krizan. The last of her immediate family, she was preceded by six brothers, Phillip, Chris, Albert, Albert C., Joseph and John Antoline and five sisters, Catherine James, Mary Louise and Theresa Antoline, Ameilia Palyash and Veronica Lewchenko.
Virginia will be sadly missed by her three sons, Stephan J. Krizan, III of Monaca, Timothy (Janet) Krizan of Negley, Ohio and Dale R. (Melissa) Krizan of Follansbee, West Virginia, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews.
