It is hard to believe that a year has passed. I continue to think of Aunt Virg and her wonderful presence in my life from childhoold through adulthood - her always present smile and kind words. I know what it is to miss a parent and you all continue to have my thoughts and prayers. She was a wonderful lady and her memory lives on in your beautiful and growing family. - Love, Kim

Joe, David and Gary, Your Mom was one of my very favorite people in this world. From the time I was a young girl, the thought of her brought a smile to my face. No matter where I saw her, she always had the time to care about me and my family and to giggle about the "old days". Please accept my deepest sympathy.

My dear Uncle Joe, David, Gary and your families, I am so saddened by Aunt Virg's passing. I have so many great memories of growing up having her as my second mom. She always made me feel loved like her daughter and always had a great big hug and word of encouragement. I will never forget everything that she did for me and my family (including all of the "haircuts" and perms) and all the times our two families spent together for holidays, vacations (especially Conneaut and Niagra Falls), birthdays and just getting together for meals and to play card games. She was truly an angel on earth, and I'm sure is busy taking care of everyone in heaven. May God bless all of you and give you comfort. I love you all very much and am here for all of you if you ever need anything.

Sil, You were given the special gift of having Virg as your mother. She was always nice to everyone around you and treated us all like her own. Her cooking was exceptional and the Holiday treats were a delight. She will live forever in our hearts and minds. She touched us all!

Mom - Thank you for the gift of life and for instilling in me the virtues that have made me the person I am today. I'll never forget your warm embraces when we were together and how you always worried about me even when I told you you didn't need to. I'm going to miss you always asking if I need a can of coffee; I believe you are the reason the price of coffee is so high. Thank you for showing me last year how to prepare the Christmas Eve calimari especially the "special ingredient to give it flavor." You build the size of your home in heaven on earth and I know there is mansion for you. I love you and will miss you. Save a place for me until we see each other again.
