Wilbert R. Berarducci, 75, of Rochester, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at his home.
He was born December 11, 1936, in Beaver Falls and was raised in Aliquippa. Wilbert proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War and retired from US Steel Corp., Edgar Thompson Works in Braddock. He faithfully attended the Rochester Rams High School football games and enjoyed playing games on his computer.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Janet Sochor Berarducci; five children, Precious (Phillip) Greco, Wilbert (Tymra) Berarducci, Jr.; Shane Berarducci, April Berarducci and Mary Jane Carter; seven grandchildren, Katherine, Macy, Madyson, Arabella, Domenico, Zienna and Tamara Lynn; three sisters, Ann, Susie and Wilma; a brother, John, and his mother-in-law, Katherine Sochor.
Wilbert was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Berarducci Musser; a grandson, Christopher Jr.; two sisters, Alfreda and Violet ?Cookie?; a brother, Alfred ?Sonny?, his father-in-law, John B. Sochor. and a nephew, Brad.
Friends will be received Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca.
Full military honors will be provided by the Beaver County Special Unit at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
