Wiiliam F. “Bill” Schultheis, 85 of Hopewell Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2019.
Born in South Heights on March 24, 1934, he was one of five children of the late Adolph and Violet Schultheis. A graduate of Hopewell High School, Bill assumed his father’s flooring business until retiring. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and hanging out with the family pets, Angel, Buddy Bear and Heidi. He was both a fan and critic of the Steelers, Pirates, and College sports. A quiet man, Bill loved watching police and detective televisions shows in his leisure time.
He will be sadly missed by his children;, Brian Schultheis of Jacksonville, Florida, Eric Schultheis of Centerville, Virginia, Luann (Mike) Chmelovski of Naperville, Illinois, and Alicia (Dave) Pizer with whom Bill lived with in Hopewell Township, his five special grandchildren; Erica (Steve), Aaron, Brandon, Krystan, and Rachel; his siblings, Dale Schultheis, Marjorie Seashore, and Shirley Grooms.
Bill also leaves behind many nieces and nephews with one particular niece, Rochelle Farmerie, who had a special place in his heart and who was always there for him when needed.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kathleen Pizer, and a sister and brother in law, Joan (Bob) Maykuth.
As per his request, there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
